We have weekly rates by season (high, medium, low) and we have monthly and longer-term rates. Please contact us if you would like to stay for a longer period as we offer discounts, as noted in the chart above, and we will be happy to provide you with a quote. Most of our guests stay for longer periods and return yearly or every other year and consider one of our apartments to be their home away from home in France.
How to Make a Reservation
To reserve an apartment, please contact us via email at:
or call us at 011-33-6-80-41-25-97 (from U.S.), +33-6-80-41-25-97 (from Europe). We are in the Central European Time Zone (CET) as we live in Villefranche.
We require a 40% deposit at the time of booking and the balance is due two months prior to arrival. We can accept payment by credit card (Visa and MasterCard), or by wire to our French bank account.
Although our online calendar is up-to-date, it may occasionally seem to be open for dates that are not in fact available because we have them internally blocked, temporarily holding these dates while clients are in process of making their deposit payments. Once a deposit is received we publish bookings on our online calendar.
Other Fees
Cleaning: In addition to the apartment pricing given above, there is a weekly cleaning fee: for one-bedroom and studio apartments the fee is 125 € per week, and for two-bedroom apartments the fee is 175 € per week. The weekly cleaning includes a thorough cleaning of the apartment and a full change of all linen.
There are no other fees. Rental fee and cleaning fee, that’s it!
Apartment Amenities
Included with every apartment is private WIFI (fiber), telephone with free international calling, all linen, towels, beach towels, dish towels, iron and ironing board, hair dryer, washing machine (and a dryer in the Villa and Plage Privée), dishwasher (except Beachfront Bliss), fully equipped kitchens (designed for people who enjoy cooking, including sharp knives), beach chairs and umbrellas, and Weber gas grill (Villa, Plage Privée and Penthouse). If there is anything missing, we and our staff are onsite to take care of it. We have written several guides for each apartment: 1) how the appliances and various items work in the apartment; 2) how the village and surrounding area are laid out and where to find various services (ATMs, pharmacies, grocery stores, restaurants, public transport, etc); 3) recommendations of our favorite things to do; 4) walking / hiking guide.
Check-in and Arrival Services
We, or one of our staff members, will welcome you personally and be in touch with you the day of your arrival so there is no waiting or confusion about how to find us or get the key. We meet you at the easiest place for you to find upon your arrival and will guide you personally to the apartment, pointing out useful shops and interesting places. We will then show you around the apartment and explain how things work, give you keys and answer any questions you have about the village and various services you might need (ATMs, pharmacy, public transport, grocery store, boulangerie, etc). If you need transportation from the airport, we are happy to organize transportation with the local taxi service who provides an excellent service to and from the airport or provide you with information on public transportation. We can also receive packages or bags that you choose to send in advance.
Parking
None of our apartments have designated parking spaces. For the village apartments (all except the Villa) there is some street parking (mostly free) around the pedestrian village and a parking garage (1.80 euro / hour). You can also purchase a parking permit that costs 20 euro for two weeks that enables you to park in metered parking (first-come first-serve). Parking is a challenge in the summer, but not difficult other months of the year. At the Villa there is always free street parking in front of the apartment. If you are staying in the village, you do not need, and probably do not want, a car. For the one or two days you might want one, it is easy to rent it for that period of time. Public transport is excellent, plus you can walk many places. At the Villa, it is handy to have a car but not necessary as everything is walking distance. If you are at the Villa, the village has a mini-bus that goes up and down the hillside of Villefranche so if you walk from the Villa to the village (about a 5-7 minute walk) and don’t want to walk back up the hill, you can take the mini-bus.
Cancellation Policy
We do not offer refunds on deposits or final payments as a general policy. We will provide you with a rental contract, (please ask for it when you pay your deposit). We highly recommend purchasing travel insurance. It is not our desire to have you pay for something you cannot use, nor for you to feel penalized for having to cancel as it is usually due to an emergency. But we are a small business and simply cannot afford to refund bookings, like a hotel can with rapid turnover. Our customers book many months if not a full year in advance. Because it is difficult to re-book an apartment if you cancel on a somewhat short notice (2 or 3 months prior to arrival is short notice for us), we will have turned away potential customers. For this reason, we are happy to provide a contract and urge you to get travel insurance. In general, we need minimally 4 months to re-book an apartment, and often more. If we are able to re-book the apartment, we will provide a partial refund (whatever we can re-book it for minus a small handling fee).
Cancellation During COVID-19
If you are not able to travel because of: a) travel restrictions imposed by France (i.e., France closes its borders) and/or b) a general country-wide confinement is imposed in France, we will provide you with a voucher for a future booking for payments received. Your payment is not applicable to a future booking if: a) borders are open but require a COVID-19 test and you are not willing or able to get one, or your test is positive, and you are unable to travel; or b) a vaccine is required and you don’t have one.
